Camping, Lake Huron, Ontario, Sauble Falls, Prov. Pk.
Heading into The Bruce Peninsula we come to Sauble Beach and campers enjoy Sauble Falls Provincial Park. It is located on a river with little falls. If you like to canoe it is a good and easy place. Fall brings spawning of Rainbow Trout and Chinook Salmon takes place as they climb the waterfall. Fishing is good in Lake Huron just a short drive from the park. There are miles of beaches nearby that are flat, sand, and shallow great for small children. The sunset is great over the lake. In the village of Sauble Beach you will find amusements and restaurants to make for nice side trips. This is a lovely area but can be chilly so take warm clothing and bedding.
