June Roses My favorite flower is the Rose and it is my June Birthday flower. Of the bushes we have the Chrysler is my choice because of the way it opens. The Chrysler Rose begins as a yellow bud with a little red accent. As it opens it becomes more red and ends up as a large red beauty. We seem to have had the best luck with those that are up nearest the house, but others have them in many locations. If Roses are clipped off once they bloom many more will replace the flowers until Fall. The bushes come up every year as long as they are trimmed back to about two feet high and then lower in Spring. Watch for bugs and apply the proper powder. Flowering Fertilizer will also provide nice big blooms. There are many different types of Rose Bushes. Some have large flowers and some groups of smaller flowers. They can be climbers or hedges. See the url attached for greater info. Contributor's Note Have a lovely Rose filled June.
