Live, Laugh, Love April
I am going to give you some insight into daily activities of mine. Today is Apr. 23, 2008. I went north from Lake Erie to do Income Tax, and yellow was the color of the day outside. Tulips and Forsythia were all around. Some Magnolia Trees were also in bloom. So beautiful. I planted Pansies yesterday. They do well in cooler weather so are good for Spring. The only problem is that we have wild Bunnies in our yards here and Pansies are one of their favorites. I put them in a planter up on my porch so they should be safe. Many of our neighbors have already cut their lawns and we must get ours done tomorrow. It is cooler here by the lake but because it is moist the grass needs cutting twice a week in Spring. Our Rose bushes survived the winter and they are always so lovely.
Our back neighbor just returned from the south. He has a large birdhouse and the Swallows were waiting for him as he put it up and trying to get in. He also has a nice birdbath that seems to be a favorite with all the birdies around here. I think it is because her really keeps it clean and fresh. Gas was $1.18 a liter today, so I am going to walk as much as possible. I'm even thinking of getting a bicycle.
