Live, Laugh, Love May 12
May is going by quickly for me. My companion has fallen several times and is staying in the house while his eye heals up. This means some trips to have tests, etc.
I spent Mother's Day at a place called Backus Mills just near my home. It is a lovely Pioneer Village. We had pancakes breakfast and then I went to my friend's 80th birthday that was held in a neat old barn at the same place.
Here in Canada we are getting ready for May 2 4 weekend next week. It is the start of the summer for us and all the campers and cottagers will hit the beach areas near where I live at Long Point on Lake Erie.
It is a great day for yard sales too. Of course, they are calling for cool, rainy weather. That is normal and then the next weekend it will be nicer. Oh well, lots of people will be swimming and boating even if the water is cooool.
Tomorrow I am going out with Red Hat Ladies to visit our nearby Police College and then for lunch.
Wed. is a garden tour. Never let anyone tell you that being a senior is boring.
We all wonder how we ever had time to work before we retired as there is always something to do if you look for it.
