My Cat Sally
I have had five cats in my lifetime. The current one is called Sally. To me this is really not a cat name, but she already had it when we got her. We were visiting our daughter and I saw this lovely cat through her window. I told her I would take it if she ever wanted to let it go. About a year later their first baby arrived, and Sally loved him and would let him play with her. When he was about two I got a phone call that she was wetting on his toys and they had to get rid of her. Of course, I suckered in and said I would take her. I never had one bit of trouble with the wetting, so we assume she was either jealous or afraid of the noisy toys. Sally has given us so much enjoyment over the past five years. Of course, the man of the house never wants a cat but always ends up being dedicated to its every want. He has to walk her to her feeding dish. At night she lays on the top back of the couch right above his head. When the scare was out about the bad food she got very sick and was rolling on her back crying. Fortunately, one visit to the Vet and she was soon on the mend. He recommended a certain food, and her Daddy has to go and buy that special food from the Vet and doesn't want her to have any other. But then Mommy buys her treats and toys. She has five baskets of toys from the Thrift Shop that I have to show her and the throw a couple treats. I always throw one left and the next one right and she knows this. Brushing is another treat for her. The brushes are in the bathroom, so of course she has to come in and jump up on her little bench every time one of us goes in. Oh, I forgot to tell you how to recognize her. Sally is about seventeen pounds. A large cat and half the size is fur. Her fur is white with large orange and black spots. It is about two inches long. I am adding a little picture that looks almost like her. Well, it it almost bedubyetime and she will be waiting for me at the foot of the bed as she knows that is her spot. Night all.
