My Winter Vacation
I returned from perfect weather in Dominican Republic to the heavy snowstorms of the past few weeks. It was so nice to go with just short sleeves even after dark. We had such a nice relaxing time. Even the plane trips went perfectly. The thing I remember most was not the trip but how everyone got along so well. It was a large plane and quite a few children but never once did any act up. The parents kept them busy and they were coloring or watching TV. I was lucky on the way down as I just fit into the seat and no one came to sit in the third seat. On the way home there was a large younger man and he was very nice. He introduced himself and his wife who was in the middle section. We all had a close but nice return trip. At the destination it was all inclusive, so we could eat and drink all we wanted. The best way to go. What was amazing to me was that people were coming and leaving all the time and there were about five or six languages spoken. We never knew if the people spoke English or not. Most of the workers spoke Spanish, but we managed to communicate with them and they were all very nice. I return home thinking "Wouldn't it be wonderful if all the world was like this" I especially thought of this today on Easter Weekend.
