Seniors By today's definition a Senior is anyone over fifty. This is starting to include The Baby Boomers so it is becoming a large group. Now, some of you may think this is a boring time of life. It can be a very interesting part of your life if you make it such. Seniors have a lot of fun if they have the right mental attitude. I live in a Senior Housing Community with a clubhouse and many go south to similar places in the Winter. On most special days there will be a dance and party and maybe a supper too. Some of the people are up in their eighties or nineties and they will be up dancing and swinging with the greatest of ease. We also like to tell funny and even dirty jokes. Little skits with hilarious humor are also a great hit. Some of my neighbors go for long walks and go golfing or biking every day. Some of us like to sing in the choir or at a Karaoke. There are always volunteer jobs to do on all types of committees. Seniors don't have the worry that younger people have about being perfect because we know that no one is and really don't care. So look to the future with enjoyment in your mind and you will love it. Contributor's Note Have a fun day even if it means taking a pain pill.
