The Singles Scene
Many of us have had the time in our lives where we had to make a new start after a breakup, death or divorce. It is not always easy for many of us. There are more means nowadays to meet someone, but we must always use caution and good sense. Remember when they say "Love is Blind" this is very true. We only see what we want to when we fall for someone. When looking for someone with like interests you should go to the place where this type of person would be. If you aren't a drinker you likely won't find them at a bar. If you are religious then church functions would be an idea. Sports interests then attend games that you like. See the pattern here? No matter where you go to meet someone there are about five different types of people out there looking and, of course, you also fall into one of these. Marriage in mind. This person wants to find someone permanent to settle down with. Hopefully the will have common interests with you. Just looking. They want to date a variety of people to have some fun and maybe meet someone some day. Serious permanent relationship. A one on one bonding but not cohabitating. One night stand. Only one thing wanted in this one and we know what that is. Just friends. Companship but with no commitments. I hope you see what I mean and know enough to find a person with the same future outlook. And, of course, now we have online meeting places and dating services.
