Travel Tips
I have just returned from a short air trip and have a few tips for you.
Be prepared to stand in lineups, walk for miles and wait for luggage as you stand, especially if you go from or to a large airport. For an older person this can be very tiring.
The trip to the airport took two hours and then the waiting at the airport took another three. Make sure your luggage has wheels and is sturdy as it will be manhandled. Carry on luggage should be over the shoulder type and lightweight.
Once on the plane be prepared to be squeezed into a very small seat for a long period of time. Eat before you go, as four tiny meatballs and some rice was our lovely supper served in a little box. One beverage came later. Thank goodness for the movie boring as it was.
On arrival the process is repeated in reverse.
Fortunately, we had a lovely flight and great weather.
From zero to 75 in a few hours. Wow! and even the time went back an hour.
