Trilliums
The Trilliums are starting to bloom in Ontario. I love to drive by wooded areas and see a mass of white Trilliums. They don't bloom very long but now is the time around the beginning of May. In 1937 Ontario made Trilliums there official flower and they are on most Government letterheads, etc. Even though white is the most common color they do come in pinks and reds. It is against the law to pick them because if a flower is picked the entire plant will die. Most people know this and just want to enjoy seeing them in the wild. Now with the Tulips, Daffodils, flowering bushes, Tulip Trees, etc. Spring is really here. Enjoy it while it lasts. Visit the link and you will see many pictures of various Trillium plants.
